TWT (The World Transformed) is a political education project that emerged out of the movement around Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership of the Labour Party. Each year, to coincide with the Labour Party conference, TWT organise a festival which brings activists, organisers and politicians into a discussive space.
This years festival, based partly online and onsite in Brighton was designed in collaboration with William Bindley. The flower petal motif acted as a visually evocative string through the work, signifying new hope after the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns in the UK.
In the end, we produced everything from facemasks to 3 metre wide banners hanging in the Old Steine Gardens. We wanted to ensure the overall idea could be adaptable and work across different media.
